Neeraj Chopra out of this big tournament, did amazing work recently

India’s star javelin thrower and Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has been ruled out of a major tournament due to injury. He has given this information through his social media. Chopra recently performed brilliantly during a tournament. Neeraj Chopra’s injury is not very serious but he has taken this decision as a precautionary measure. Defending Olympic javelin throw champion Neeraj Chopra on Monday said he has pulled a hamstring and is pulling out of next month’s FBK Games.

Chopra, the world’s number one javelin thrower, wrote on Twitter, “Recently I got a muscle strain during training. After medical assessment, my team and I decided to avoid any risk that could aggravate the injury. “Unfortunately this means I will have to pull out of the FBK Games in Hengelo (Netherlands),” he added. The Fanny Blenkers Koen Games, a gold-level event of the World Athletics Continental Tour, is scheduled to be held in Hengelo, Netherlands, on June 4.

Had a great performance recently

Most recently, the 25-year-old Neeraj Chopra started the year on a high note with a first-round throw of 88.67m at the Doha Diamond League on May 5. Neeraj will not take a long break due to this injury. He may make a comeback with the Paavo Nurmi Games to be held in Turku, Finland on June 13. Neeraj said that injuries are a part of the journey but it is never easy. I am recovering from injury and have set a target of getting back on the track in June. Neeraj Chopra has faced a lot of injuries in the past. He is working on his fitness for the big tournament ahead of him.
