A shocking case has come to light from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. After marriage, the groom was taking his bride to his home after seeing her off. However, he returned to his in-laws’ house midway. Actually, the groom did not get gold ring, chain in the marriage. Because of this he was very angry. After this her dispute started with her in-laws. On reaching back to the in-laws house, the groom started demanding all the expenses in lieu of ending the relationship. After this, the bride’s side made the groom and his father hostage by keeping all the things given in dowry. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. This incident remains a topic of discussion in the entire village.

Groom was angry for not getting gold chain and ring

It is being told that the procession had come from Turkavli village of Raunapar police station area in Alampur village of Jiyanpur Kotwali. The procession reached Alampur around 9 o’clock and after the Dwar Puja, the processions were welcomed. However, the boy was angry for not getting the gold chain and ring. He did not go to the Kohbar inside the bride’s house. He remained sitting outside in the car parked at the door. Then the bride also sat with him and left for her in-laws house. ,

The groom returned with the bride after sending her off

On reaching half way, the bridegroom started objecting for not getting the ring and gold chain. He called the in-laws and said that he was coming back with the bride. After reaching her in-laws house, the groom demanded the ring and chain. Due to this, a dispute started between both the sides. After this the bride refused to go to her in-laws house.

Police arrived after the dispute, brought both sides to the police station

During this the dispute increased so much that the people of the girl’s side took the groom’s father and aunt hostage. After this, the girl’s family started demanding Rs 6 lakh for the marriage. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot. Brought both the parties to the police station.

Relationship ended by mutual agreement

After the Panchayat, the goods given in the transaction were returned. According to the agreement, the boys returned Rs 1 lakh 95 thousand spent in the marriage to the bride’s side. After this the relationship ended.

Taking cognizance in this matter, station in-charge KK Awasthi told that after the agreement between both the parties, the relationship was terminated. No Tahrir has been given from both the sides.
