At the same time, a case of abduction of a minor girl has also come to light in Purola of Uttarkashi, due to which a lot of resentment is being seen among the local people. Recently, a case has been registered against a young man by Dak Patthar Chowki of Dehradun Vikas Nagar. It is alleged that a Muslim youth of Vikas Nagar implicated a girl from Rajasthan on social media by hiding her religion and also made an obscene video of the girl on Instagram. The boy described himself as the owner of a hotel in Goa. When the girl reached Vikasnagar boy’s house from Rajasthan with her father, the reality came to the fore.

In view of the increasing incidents of love jihad in the mountain, the traders of Yamuna valley announced to keep the market closed. On the other hand, Child Development Minister Rekha Arya has said that we should be alert in view of these matters. Especially the girls who haven’t seen Kerala Story should watch this. People angry about love jihad
Similarly, another case also came to the fore in this area from Chakrata. Where two youths of a particular community had brought a minor with them. When this matter came to light, the police swung into action and a complaint was registered against them and now a similar serious case has also come to the fore from Purola in Uttarkashi, where an attempt was being made to elope a minor girl. In this matter of alleged love jihad, the local people expressed their displeasure and took out a procession in protest.
