Uttar Pradesh: Female lawyer murdered outside the house, shot in the head, complained to IG 20 days ago – conspiracy to kill me

In Meerut on Wednesday morning, a female lawyer was shot dead outside her house. The attackers shot him in the head at the gate itself. Seeing the blood-soaked corpse at 6.30 am, the neighbors informed the police. Police reached the spot and took the woman to the hospital. There the doctors declared him dead. After this the body was sent for postmortem. The incident is of New Mewla Colony of Tipinagar area. The name of the deceased was Anjali Garg. Age was 35 years.

Neighbors told that Anjali used to go in the morning to get milk. She was returning with milk. She could not even open the lock of the gate, then the attackers shot her. The woman had complained to Meerut IG 20 days ago i.e. on 18 May. In this, there was a possibility of conspiracy to kill him.

Lived alone after divorce, husband-father-in-law in custody
Tipinagar police station in-charge told that Anjali was married to Nitin Garg, a chartered accountant. He used to work in Delhi. However, Anjali had a dispute with her husband. Divorced 3 years back. After the divorce, she lived alone in the house. Anjali was a lawyer in the court. According to the neighbors, there was a dispute with her husband and father-in-law regarding the house for 7-8 years.

The house where Anjali used to live now, that house belongs to her father-in-law Pawan Garg. In this she was living without the consent of her husband and family. At the same time, SP City told that both the parties i.e. Anjali and her father-in-law Pawan were continuously giving tahrir against each other regarding the house dispute. Both the parties were stopped by the police.

Two suspicious boys were seen on scooty
According to the neighbors, no one has seen Anjali shoot. However, it is being told that 2 people came from a scooty in the morning. The scooty driver was wearing a mask. The man sitting behind had tied his face with a handkerchief. The man sitting behind had also taken a backpack.

Neighbors told that the sound of firing was very loud. The people around heard only the sound of a shot. When she came out, the female lawyer fell on the gate covered in blood.

Anjali was upset with father-in-law, complained to IG on May 18
The woman had complained to Meerut IG 20 days ago i.e. on 18 May. A copy of this has come to the fore. In this, father-in-law Pawan Garg has been accused of many things. It is also written that on the evening of May 17, father-in-law Pawan Garg was showing the house by bringing two suspicious unknown persons. So that the murder can be done. The woman had also written that if any incident happens to me, Pawan Garg will be responsible for it. Also, if any incident happens to Pawan Garg then the responsibility will be on him only.

Anjali also wrote in the complaint that Pawan Garg follows her. Keeps circling outside his house like a madman. He wants to kill her. The woman had also said that the father-in-law stood at the main gate and banged the door, gave obscene and dirty abuses. Often he follows her with the Activa. Some videos of this have also surfaced. Pawan Garg is seen chasing in this.

Investigation of disputes as a lawyer
Why was the female lawyer murdered? The answer to this question has not yet been found. Along with the dispute with the husband, the police is also probing on the line that the woman was a lawyer. Was the woman having a dispute with anyone else? The visit of the woman to her in-laws was completely stopped. But the parents used to come and go. There has never been such an attack or dispute at home before. The woman’s maternal home is in Nauchandi area of Meerut. The police have informed his parents.

Father-in-law said – I myself have got an FIR done against the daughter-in-law
In the whole case, father-in-law Pawan alleged that his son had a dispute with his daughter-in-law 8 years ago. Divorced 3 years ago after the case was filed. His three shops were with his daughter-in-law. Whom she used to take rent. It is alleged that his daughter-in-law had to get up and sit with the criminal people. He had enmity with many people. He himself has lodged an FIR against the daughter-in-law. Because there were attacks on him too. Now on Wednesday morning he himself was sleeping in the shop, when people told him that Anjali had been murdered.

Professional shooters executed the incident?
Police officers are not saying anything in this matter right now. However, sources say that the manner in which the woman was shot. Looks like the work of professional shooters. Because, he was shot directly in the head. In such a situation, the police is also probing the angle of betel nut killing.

On the other hand, there will be no work in the Meerut court today in connection with the murder of a female lawyer. Meerut Bar Association called an emergency meeting of lawyers. In this, the lawyers have announced not to work today. The lawyers mobilized and reached the District Judge’s place. After this, condolence will be done in the court. After condolence, all the lawyers together will meet SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan. Bar Association President KP Sharma said that the murder of a female lawyer should be disclosed as soon as possible.
