According to reports, a Dalit girl resident of the village was married on May 15, 2023, to a village resident of Bhoganipur Kotwali area. After getting married, when the newlyweds came to their parents’ home for pagfere, they had stomach ache on 25th May. The relatives admitted him to a private hospital in Akbarpur. Where the newly married woman gave birth to a baby girl on 26 May. After 10 days of marriage, the news of the newly married woman giving birth to a baby girl spread further in the area. When the girl’s husband and in-laws came to know about this, there was a stir.
The husband and his in-laws refused to accept the new marriage. At the same time, now the victim has filed a case against Arun Pal and Vinay Pal of the village by giving Tahrir in the police station on June 6 for forcibly raping and threatening to kill her several times. The victim told that Arun Pal and Vinay Pal raped her several times and had also made pornographic videos of her. The victim told that he had also threatened her that if she told anyone about this, he would make her video viral. Because of which she remained silent and did not tell anything to anyone.
Police registered a case on the victim’s Tahrir and started investigating the matter and the accused are being searched. In this regard, Inspector Samar Bahadur Singh of Rura police station said that a case has been registered against Arun Pal and Vinal Pal under sections 374-D, 506 and 3(2). The case is being investigated.
