The happiness of marriage started being celebrated in the house. Finally the day also came when the groom reached the marriage hall in Barua Sagar on 6th June to pick up his bride. There was an atmosphere of happiness everywhere. Meanwhile, the bride took entry with her father and younger sister. All the rituals of marriage were performed. First there was a jaymala, then the bride and groom took seven rounds of the marriage and got married.

The father put three conditions in front of the bride

The bride reached the marriage hall in Baruasagar along with her father and sister. The procession also reached the marriage hall along with the drums. All the rituals like Tika, Jaimala and Saat Phere were performed here. After this the time came for farewell. The bridegroom was busy preparing for the farewell, when the bride refused to go to her in-laws house. The reason for this was that the father of the bride had placed three conditions in front of the groom and his father. The first condition in this was that there would be no physical relationship between the bride and groom. The second condition was that the bride would take her younger sister with her to her in-laws house. The third condition was that the father would be able to visit his in-laws’ house anytime and no one would stop him. When the groom’s father and the groom heard these three conditions, they refused to accept them. After this the bride got angry and instead of going to her in-laws house sitting in the doli, she went to her father’s house in Gursaray.

The groom said this after the marriage broke up

After the marriage was broken, the groom said that he was getting married on the 6th. After all the rituals the girl went to the room. After this, his father came and said three conditions. When all the three conditions were refused, the bride went to her father’s house.
