Uttarakhand: Bhatt said – Rumors spread about the China border, Rahul defames the country and Congress insults the army
Taking a jibe at the state leaders including the Congress national president, the BJP has said that those who held secret meetings at the Chinese embassy at the time of martyrdom in Galvan and took crores of donations from them are today spreading knowledge on patriotism. State President Mahendra Bhatt warned that the people of Uttarakhand, the land of heroes, will not tolerate this kind of insult to the bravery of the army.
Bhatt issued a statement strongly criticizing the propaganda being spread by the Congress from Delhi to Dehradun regarding the state border. He said, their leader Rahul Gandhi defames the country abroad and the party insults the bravery of the Indian Army in the country. He has termed as baseless and irresponsible the statements made by Congress leaders from Delhi to Dehradun regarding the border related to Uttarakhand. He said, regarding the border dispute with China, the Congress first needs to peep into its history. How after independence, due to the short-sighted policy of the Congress governments, 38,000 square kilometers of land had gone under the occupation of China. But after 2014, not even an inch of land has gone to any other country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As far as it is a matter of construction on Chinese occupied territory, this apprehension is the brainchild of Congressmen who always point fingers at the bravery of Indian soldiers. Because China has mostly made efforts to build around the same areas which went under the dragon’s control decades ago due to the cowardice of the Congress governments.
Bhatt sarcastically said that those who are making unrestrained allegations on the basis of half-incomplete information about Galvan and Doklam, they have to remember that when our brave soldiers were fighting the Chinese army, their top leader Rahul Gandhi was at the Chinese Embassy. I was having a secret meeting. He should ask his central leadership, during the UPA government, his party received crores of rupees from China.
Why was the donation taken and what was it used for? He taunted that their high command goes abroad and works to defame the country and their national and state leaders are insulting the bravery of the country’s brave soldiers by spreading confusion about the border situation. He said, Devbhoomi is the land of brave soldiers, so they are not going to tolerate this attempt to spread rumors about the construction in China border ignoring the authorized side of our army.
