Uttarakhand: Notice issued to Bishan Singh Chufal in tea garden sealing land case, about a dozen other people also have to appear in the court on June 24

The matter of encroachment on the land of tea garden ceiling has started catching up. The District Additional Collector court has issued a notice against former minister and sitting MLA Bishan Singh Chufal in this matter and summoned the reply. Apart from this, the court has also issued notices to about a dozen encroachers. The court has summoned all the encroachers to the court on 24th June. The court has also ordered Tehsildar Sadar and Nehru Colony and Raipur police station of the concerned area to stop all the ongoing construction works on the disputed land.

RTI activist advocate Vikesh Negi had exposed the matter of breaking the land of sealing tea garden. According to Advocate Vikesh, the sealing land of tea garden is being bought and sold in Raipur, Raichakpur, Natthanpur and Ladpur areas. In this case, the Supreme Court had ordered on October 10, 1975 that the sealing land of the tea garden cannot be bought and sold, if this happens then this land will automatically be owned by the government. Despite this, Bishan Singh Chufal has bought the land. The Additional District Magistrate has now summoned him and a dozen other encroachers in the court on June 24 along with the documents in this regard.

RTI activist advocate Vikesh Negi told that the Additional District Magistrate’s court has issued a notice to senior BJP leader Bishan Singh Chufal. In which it has been said that land account number 142, number 4305 rakba 0.8830 hectare has been purchased illegally for the sealing of tea garden located in village Raipur. The court has also appointed Vinod Kumar, Ila Khanduri, Saroj Bisht, Monika Chaudhary, Sanjay Guleria Notices have also been sent to Abha, Raja Dobra, Shanti Negi, Savita, Ramesh Bhatt.
