Uttar Pradesh / Ghazipur: The groom could not tell the name of the Prime Minister of the country… the girl got married to the younger brother

Many strange stories are heard in marriages. However, these days the kind of matter that is coming out from Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, you will also be shocked to hear it. In fact, during a wedding ceremony in Saidpur area of Ghazipur district, a groom was asked the name of the Prime Minister of India. But he could not answer this question at all. What was it then, the girls called him a mental patient and got their daughter married to the younger brother of the groom. The news of this incident has now spread in the whole area.

This incident took place on June 11 in Naseerpur village which comes under Saidpur police station area. The groom’s name was Shiv Shankar, whose marriage was fixed with a girl named Ranjana. The groom’s tilak was applied in 6 months after the marriage. Since then the girl and the boy were talking to each other on the phone. The date of marriage of both was fixed on 11th June. Shiv Shankar had reached Ranjana’s house with a procession with all the wedding processions and music. The marriage of both was done according to the customs.

Jokingly, the sisters had asked the question

However, the next morning when a ritual of Khichdi was being done, the sisters-in-law started joking and laughing with their brother-in-law i.e. Shiv Shankar. Jokingly, he asked the groom the question, ‘Who is the prime minister of the country?’ The bewildered groom could not answer this simple question. Just what then… the girls decided to make him Lanka. The people of the girl’s camp started telling lack of mind in the groom.

Told the groom ‘half mind’

The groom’s father told that the girls called his son Shiva as half mind and got their daughter Ranjana married to Shiva’s younger brother at gunpoint. While the younger brother was not even of marriageable age yet. Although the boys still accepted this marriage as appropriate and took the daughter-in-law home with full respect. But one day suddenly the girls knocked again and started insisting on taking their girl. Then the boy’s father called the police. Now the police is handling this matter.
