Russia-Ukraine War: Drone attacks and firing from Russia side, one civilian killed in Kherson

A civilian was killed after shelling by the Russian army in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson. The local governor has informed about this on Sunday. Ukraine recaptured the city of Kherson and parts of the Kherson region in November after months of Russian occupation

However, even after this Russian forces regularly shelled the city and surrounding areas from the opposite side of the Dnieper River.

Woman buried in rubble

A shell fired by the Russian army hit the house of the victim’s family, killing one person, while another family member was trapped under the debris. “A shell exploded right in the middle of the room. A woman is trapped under the rubble, but alive,” Alexander Prokudin said on the Telegram messaging app.

Ukrainian officials also reported that Russians shelled the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night, injuring one person and damaging three private homes.

Civilians injured in drone attack earlier also

Earlier on Monday morning, two civilians were injured and property damage was reported in a drone attack on Kiev, the federal capital of Ukraine. The attack was confirmed by the Ukrainian military administration. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in a telegram that technicians were working to stabilize the heat and power supply to the area hit by the attack. There was also serious damage to infrastructure.
