Orange alert for thunderstorm and rain in Uttarakhand, monsoon will enter the mountain from June 25

Pre monsoon has knocked in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department had expressed the possibility of rain here from Thursday. It was told that the pre-monsoon rains will start in the state from June 22. At the same time, from June 25 onwards, monsoon will come completely in the state. Orange alert has been issued regarding this. Monsoon will continue to affect the state for the next few months, due to which the Char Dham Yatra will also be affected.

Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, said that there will be pre-monsoon rains in Uttarakhand from June 22 to 24. After this, monsoon will enter the mountain from June 25. During this, there will be good rain in the hilly areas. Along with this, the weather will also change in the plains. Due to the fall in the temperature, people will get a lot of relief from the heat. Not only rain, but the possibility of high speed winds and lightning has also been expressed.

The Meteorological Department has instructed the pilgrims coming on the Char Dham Yatra to travel after taking weather updates. In view of the rainy season, the administration has made preparations to reduce the number of pilgrims as a precautionary measure in Kedarnath Dham.
