Uttar Pradesh: Fake TTE was cutting challan in the train, on being caught told – Officers had given appointment letter after taking 7 lakhs…! GRP engaged in investigation

To earn money in a clever way without hard work, people often start cheating by becoming Navtarlal. One such young man used to make illegal recovery from the passengers in the train by becoming a fake TTE. But thanks to a conscious person, his secret got exposed. In fact, on Friday, a TTE was checking the tickets of passengers in the general coach of Bundelkhand Express coming from Jhansi towards Gwalior. He was also issuing challans to the passengers traveling without tickets. But in the meantime, a passenger suspected something in his behavior that he called the control room.

What was it then, after getting the information, the RPF team started waiting for the train on the platform of Gwalior station. As soon as the Bundelkhand Express reached Gwalior station, the RPF team started questioning the fake TTE. The accused told that he is Naresh Banjara. According to Naresh, he is a resident of Sheopur district and he has been given an appointment letter by the officers of Delhi. 7 lakh rupees have been taken in lieu of this.

Gang apprehension

When the RPF searched it, an appointment letter, two ID cards and other documents were found from it. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused had fraudulently obtained the appointment letter for Rs 7 lakh. The GRP has now started to find out whether a big gang is working behind giving a fake appointment letter to a young man. The police want to reach other accused involved in this network of forgery through fake TTEs, so that the entire gang can be exposed.
