On Saturday, a video of a constable thrashing a man went viral on the internet media. In the video, the police constable is seen kicking a young man. The constable is seen striking the man’s knees several times with the tip of his shoe. This video was investigated by the police headquarters on Saturday. During investigation, it was found that constables Dinesh Semwal and Manoj Bharti, seen in the video, were posted at the Dharmawala outpost. Who reached the spot on a complaint of theft.

He did not inform the police post and station in-charge about this. Taking cognizance of this, Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Kunwar has immediately sent both the police personnel to the line. At the same time, the investigation of this entire episode has been set up. The SSP said that on the basis of the investigation, action will be taken against both the policemen as per rules. Earlier, a similar case had also come to light in Raiwala police station, where a video of the inspector beating up a person was circulated on the internet media. In this case, the SSP had presented the line to the sub-inspector and two constables.
