Uttarakhand: BJP’s 5 Lok Sabha level rally postponed due to bad weather

BJP has postponed all its Lok Sabha level rallies except Haridhar due to bad weather warning in the state. Along with this, the State President has given instructions to register attendance on the Saral app, making the door-to-door contact campaign more successful in the extra time gained due to the postponement of the rally.

State media in-charge Manveer Chauhan issued a detailed statement quoting state president Mahendra Bhatt and said that it was proposed to organize rallies at all the five Lok Sabha levels between June 27 and 30 under the national mass contact campaign. But in view of the Meteorological Department’s warning regarding monsoon and the apprehension of bad weather, Tehri, Paudi Garhwal, Almora and Nainital Lok Sabha rallies have been postponed. On the other hand, under the Haridhar Lok Sabha, the rally to be held in Roorkee on June 28 will be held at its scheduled time at 4 pm, which will be addressed by party state in-charge and national general secretary Dushyant Gautam, chief minister Pushkar Dhami and state president Mahendra Bhatt. Along with this, he told that new dates will be announced soon in relation to the postponed rallies.

Chouhan said that State President Mahendra Bhatt has given clear instructions that after the postponement of the rally, the door-to-door contact campaign has to be completed with full force in the remaining time. Along with this maximum presence has to be registered on Saral and Namo app.
