Uttarakhand: Foreign guests were welcomed in Ganga Aarti by the Chief Minister of the state and other people’s representatives

Ganga Aarti was attended by the guests of G_20 at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh. During this, the foreign guests were warmly welcomed by the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami, other public representatives and local people. The foreign guests were engrossed in spirituality by Ganga Aarti and Bhajan Sangeet. Seeing the calm and picturesque valleys of the flowing Ganges yesterday, the delegates of G_20 looked so inquisitive, eager and happy that there was a competition to take selfies during Ganga Darshan.

In the Ganga Aarti, the foreign guests also got an overview of India’s spirituality, yoga, meditation, culture, customs and hospitality of India. After Ganga Aarti, the foreign guests enjoyed the local dishes in the dinner and in the banquet they were also introduced to the millets of India and the twelve-grain culture of Uttarakhand. During the Ganga Aarti, foreign guests were also introduced to the traditional efforts of India and Uttarakhand to conserve natural resources.

During Ganga Aarti, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and current Lok Sabha MP Haridwar Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Uttarakhand Cabinet Ministers Ganesh Joshi and Premchand Agarwal, Vikas Nagar MLAs Munna Singh Chauhan and Raipur Road Khajan Das, District Panchayat President Dehradun Madhu Chauhan, Mayor Dehradun Sunil Uniyal and Rishikesh Anita Anita Mamgai, Inspector General of Police K.K. S. Nagnyal, Commissioner Garhwal Mandal Sushil Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat, Secretary MDDA and Director General Information Bashidhar Tiwari, District Magistrate Dehradun Smt.
