Uttarakhand: MoU signed between Disaster Management Authority and CROPC
Secretary Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha and Chairman of CROPC (Climate Resilient Observing -System Promotion Council) Sanjay Srivastava signed the MoU.Through this MoU held at the secretariat on Friday, cooperation between USDMA and CROPC A new chapter will begin. In particular, it will help in strengthening the lightning early warning system in the state.
System integration, micro-zonation of lightning hot spots, identification of suitable locations for installation of lightning conductors and arresters, construction of safe shelters for people and animals, training and conducting public awareness programs in Uttarakhand through this MoU are the main points of cooperation. USDMA and CROPC will work together to ensure the implementation of the objectives of this MoU.
