UCC may be implemented soon in Uttarakhand, CM Dhami meets PM Modi, invites PM to visit Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi today. Actually CM Dhami is on Delhi tour for the last three days. During this, he met Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday night. It is discussed that CM Dhami has discussed with Amit Shah about the implementation of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand. Along with this, CM Dhami also met the country’s Home Minister and Amit Shah, who is considered in the top leadership, on many important issues of Uttarakhand.

Main conversation with PM on these issues

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. During this, the CM presented a picture of Baba Nib Karauli and basmati rice from Uttarakhand to the Prime Minister. He said that the state is continuously developing under the direction of Prime Minister Modi. IDS scheme was launched in Uttarakhand to promote industrialization including Himachal after GST era, whose capital subsidy has not been released to the beneficiaries. He requested the PM that this scheme be implemented again for the next 5 years.

The Chief Minister also urged the Prime Minister to speed up the work of expansion of the important infra project Dehradun-Tehri Tunnel Project and Panchnagar Airport. The Chief Minister also urged the Prime Minister to transfer 457 acres of unused land of Government of India PSU BHEL to the State Government in view of the possibilities of industrialization and urbanization in Haridwar. CM Dhami has also requested to approve the proposal to shift the main railway station of Dehradun to Harrawala and transfer the land of the old railway station under Rishikesh to the state government to streamline the traffic in Dehradun and Rishikesh.

Talk about Joshimath affected

Chief Minister Dhami requested PM Modi to release funds for those affected by the Joshimath landslide. The Chief Minister has also requested to give speedy approval to the Jamrani dam project. Along with this, the Center was requested to approve an amount of ₹ 1546 crore for the Kichha Khatima Railway Station project. CM Dhami also requested Prime Minister Modi to release the central government’s share of about ₹ 410 crores soon under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor.

PM Modi invited to attend Global Investors Summit

CM Dhami invited the Prime Minister as the chief guest at the ‘Global Investors Summit-2023’ to be held in Uttarakhand. Expressing gratitude for the guidance of the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under your direction, the state of Uttarakhand is making steady progress in Ease of Doing Business, investment promotion and startup sector. In order to attract national and international investors in the state, it is proposed to organize ‘Global Investors Summit-2023′ in Dehradun in the second week of December 2023. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami invited the Prime Minister as the chief guest at the Uttarakhand Investors’ Conference and said that under his guidance, the Investors’ Conference would be successfully completed.
