Telangana / Hyderabad: The woman first stole a ring worth 50 lakhs, then flushed it in the toilet, but could not trick the police

A woman working at a Dental and Skin Clinic in Hyderabad flushed a diamond ring worth Rs 50 lakh in the toilet fearing that she would be caught stealing it. The whole matter came to light when the police searched a dental clinic in posh Jubilee Hills on the complaint of the victim. According to the police, the daughter-in-law of Narendra Kumar Agarwal had gone to the clinic on June 27 for a check-up.
Diamond ring was forgotten in the clinic
During the checkup, the woman took out her diamond ring and placed it on the side table. However, she forgot to collect the ring after the checkup and left the clinic. After returning home, the woman realized that she had forgotten to bring back her ring and rushed to the clinic. However, she did not find the ring and inquiries from the clinic staff did not yield any results either.
Police examined CCTV footage
After this, Narendra Kumar lodged a complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station. The police examined the CCTV footage and started questioning the staff of the clinic. One of the women who worked at the clinic told investigators that someone had put a ring wrapped in tissue paper in her purse and she flushed it down the commode.
Flushed in the toilet for fear of being caught
Police recovered the ring from the commode with the help of a plumber. The police have taken the woman into custody and are questioning her. It is suspected that he picked up the ring from the table. But, when the police started the investigation, she panicked. Afraid of being caught, he flushes the ring by throwing it in the toilet.
