Uttarakhand: Harish Rawat said – The sword of land jihad is on the neck of the poor…!

In Uttarakhand, the Forest Department is continuously taking action regarding illegal encroachment. This action is also being seen as tightening the noose on land jihad in the state. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, questioning this action of the Forest Department, has called it one-sided and snatching away the houses of the poor.
These days the Forest Department is engaged in the process of removing illegal encroachments across the state. In this episode, till now hundreds of hectares of land has been vacated by the Forest Department. On these situations, Harish Rawat has put his point on social media regarding the action of the forest department.
Keeping his point on the digital platform, Harish Rawat has told this action of the Forest Department as one-sided. Harish Rawat wrote on social media that there are a large number of people living in the Kedarnath area who are earning their livelihood by working hard, but the forest department is taking action against such people by running a campaign. Harish Rawat called this action exploitative of the poor in the name of land jihad.

It should be noted that the Uttarakhand government had recently started a campaign to remove illegal religious constructions in the forest areas of the state. In this, IFS officer Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate was given the responsibility. Since then, work is going on to remove illegal encroachments across the state.
Prior to Harish Rawat, Congress has been accusing BJP of doing politics of votes in the name of land jihad, but this time, referring to Kedarnath area, Harish Rawat has directly lodged his objection to this action.
