Uttar Pradesh: Rape victim did not get justice, father hanged after stumbling door to door
The victim’s father committed suicide by hanging himself after not getting justice in the rape case of a 17-year-old minor daughter in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. Seeing the father’s dead body hanging in the room, there was chaos. On the other hand, the wife of the deceased said that the police did not investigate the rape of her minor daughter, due to which she committed suicide by hanging herself.

The police chief made pressure to withdraw the case
The wife of the deceased Omprakash Kushwaha told that my family had given a complaint in the police station. But the police started pressurizing him to withdraw the case. The wife of the deceased told that the people of the village had carried out the incident of rape with her minor daughter. But, even after five days no accused was arrested. Rather, the station head tried to hush up the whole matter and said that you will also be sent to jail.
Raped on the pretext of birthday party
Omvati, the wife of the deceased, told that her husband used to do Panipuri business in Punjab to take care of the family and left the daughter with her grandmother in the month of March. According to Omvati’s information, Devendra Ahirwar, a resident of Dhurat, along with his friend Golu, invited the victim to a birthday party and raped her.
No action for five days
Hearing the incident of rape with a 17-year-old minor daughter, the ground slipped under Omprakash’s feet. A complaint letter was given in the police station regarding this incident. But the station head didn’t take any action for 5 days and Omprakash hanged himself in the morning.
