Uttarakhand: Water everywhere! CM Dhami reached the affected areas to know the problems of the people
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made a surprise inspection of rain affected areas on Tuesday. Seeing the water logging on the road in ISBT Dehradun during the inspection, the Chief Minister directed the District Magistrate Dehradun to investigate the causes of water logging and take strict action against the officials found guilty. After this, the Chief Minister did a ground inspection of Chandrabani Dehradun. Due to water coming from the forest in a colony in Chandrabani, there was a situation of water logging. Local people told that this problem is coming due to non-completion of security wall work here. The Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrate Dehradun that this problem should be resolved soon. If people need food grains and other essential items, then proper arrangements should be made for it.
Commissioner Garhwal Vinay Shankar Pandey, District Magistrate Dehradun Sonika and officers of district administration were present during the inspection.
