A surprising case has come to light in Kanpur, UP. The rape accused in lockup killed and ate a lizard. After some time his condition worsened. The accused started vomiting inside the lockup. When the pieces of lizard came out from the vomit, the hands and feet of the police personnel swelled. In a hurry, the police personnel admitted the accused to the CHC, from where the doctors referred him to Halat. The incident is said to be a day old. According to the information, a month ago, a call was received from an unknown number on the mobile of a village resident of Sadh police station area. The girl had a love affair with the young man with the said number. The young man eloped with him.

The father gathered information and filed a case against the accused Mahesh Kumar (24) Nivis Kishanpur police station Malwan district Fatehpur in Sadh police station. The police had arrested the loving couple from Bangalore. He was brought on Saturday. During interrogation here, the girl accused the accused of rape. The accused was in the lock-up of Sadh police station and when he came to know that he was being entangled in a serious case, he killed the lizard roaming inside the lock-up and ate it.

The allegation of rape started tormenting inside the lockup after eating lizard. After some time he started vomiting. Seeing the pieces of lizard in the vomit, there was a stir among the police personnel. Immediately he was admitted to the CHC, after which the accused was admitted to the Halt. ACP Dinesh Shukla told that the condition of the accused is normal.
