Uttar Pradesh: Father and sons pelted stones on Vande Bharat Express because of goat, police arrested

Police have detained three people in connection with stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express train running between Gorakhpur to Lucknow. GRP has detained a person named Guddu and his two sons in this case. The reason for stone pelting which has come to the fore in the enquiry, is astonishing. It is learned that on July 9, when the Vande Bharat train was passing through Sohwal station, Guddu was grazing his goats near the railway track.

Angry father and sons pelted stones at the death of goats

Meanwhile, some goats came on the track while grazing and came under the grip of Vande Bharat Express. Goats died after being hit by the train. Enraged by this, Guddu and his two sons pelted stones at the Vande Bharat train today. The glass panes of 4 coaches of the train were shattered due to stone pelting. When the train reached Lucknow station at 10.30 am today, the maintenance technicians fixed it by applying tape on the mirror. GRP is interrogating the RPs in custody.

No passenger was hurt in the stone pelting incident

Let us tell you that on Tuesday, stones were pelted from both sides on the Vande Bharat Express (train number 22549) going from Gorakhpur to Lucknow. In the incident, glasses of four windows of coach number C1, C3 and executive coach were shattered. Passengers panicked while walking stones. There was chaos inside the coach. No passenger got hurt.

Stones pelted on Vande Bharat in Karnataka too

Recently (5 July 2023) anti-social elements pelted stones at the Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express in Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka in the morning. At that time the train was passing through ‘KM 207/500’ from Kadur-Birur section. During the stone pelting, the stone hit the seat number 43-44 of coach C5 and the mirrors of the toilet of EC-1. The exterior glass was shattered due to the incident. Although no one was injured in this incident.
