BJP state in-charge Dushyant Gautam said that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s name comes at the top position in the country when it comes to the mention of the best in terms of development work and achievements. He also questioned the self-respect of the Congress and said that for whose self-respect it is taking out the yatra, it should be clarified. State in-charge Dushyant Gautam, who reached Uttarakhand to take stock of the disaster management situation and relief works, while answering the questions of the journalists said that whenever there is a discussion about CMs doing better work, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is at the top position. He has proved this by his service work and dedicated spirit. He said that even during the time of disaster, he is providing relief to every person by performing the tasks in a better way. He is satisfied with the way the relief work is being conducted with better coordination between the government and the organization.
Targeting the Swabhiman Yatra of the Congress, Gautam said that it should make it clear whether it is taking out the yatra to protect its self-respect or for the people of Uttarakhand. The people of Uttarakhand are facing disaster at this time and we are fighting for the safety of their lives and property. They don’t care about it, but the public knows everything and it is not going to tolerate opportunistic people.
He gave necessary instructions by taking a virtual meeting of party MLAs and party officials regarding the disaster situation and management. In this virtual meeting from the party headquarters, Gautam instructed all the public representatives and workers of the party to work with the spirit of Seva Parmo Dharma. He said, the administration is carrying out the tasks of providing relief to the disaster affected people from its own level, we also have to help the agencies engaged in relief work to fulfill the needs of the victims through individual and voluntary organizations. He said that he has discussed the disaster with Chief Minister Dhami, top officials of the organization and many people’s representatives.
He told that the district president, senior workers and MLAs of the Morcha gave information about the disaster situation in their areas, how it was dealt with and what are the challenges ahead. He expressed happiness that the organization and the government are doing good work regarding the disaster, timely assistance is being given in case of house collapse and damage, Public Works Minister Satpal Maharaj also informed about the situation of roads, bridges, drainage etc. . He said that the administration is alert and the organization is working with a sense of service.
BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that this virtual meeting has been organized with the aim of making the relief work being done by the party workers with a sense of service during the disaster period more effective. He said that apart from the local public, the workers were urged to actively arrange for food, water, milk, fruits etc. for the children, for the passengers caught in the disaster.
