Uttarakhand: On the request of the CM, the Center gave approval for 13 Nirbhaya hostels to the state, Dhami expressed gratitude to the Center

On the request of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a total of 13 Nirbhaya Hostels have been approved by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India for working women and higher education students of the state. For this, the Chief Minister has expressed gratitude to the Central Government. The Chief Minister said that with the construction of these hostels, residential facilities will be available to working women and girl students studying in higher education in different districts of the state.
These 50-bed Nirbhaya hostels will be built in Bhimtal, Haldwani, Bhagwanpur, Selakui, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Almora, Karnprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Pauri Garhwal, Bageshwar, and Rudraprayag in the state. For this, an amount of about 48 crores has also been approved.
