In Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district, cases of honeytrap are coming to the fore one after the other. In this case, the doctors of a private hospital in the city were caught in the honeytrap. While carrying out the action, the police arrested the accused girl Himani (22) and sent her to jail. At the same time, the doctor involved in this case died of shock. Police officers have appealed to the people to keep themselves away from such matters, if possible, complain by calling the nearest police station and CUG of police officers.
Actually, the whole matter is of Subhash Nagar police station area of Bareilly. A doctor used to run his clinic in the colony here. On 10 October 2022, a call was received from the doctor. The girl who called had told the doctor that she had got the number with great difficulty. I have done BSC Nursing, my financial condition is also not good, I want a job. The doctor had cut the call by saying that there was no time to talk. The same evening the accused girl Himani along with her friend (the landlord) reached the doctor’s clinic. The girl told her pain along with her friend and said that I need a job anywhere.

Doctor trapped in honeytrap in the name of mother’s treatment
After about 10 days, Himani again called the doctor and said that my mother’s health has deteriorated. I need help, you come to my house quickly. I am very upset. While talking on the phone, Himani called her name Priya.
The doctor asked Himani to bring her mother to the clinic. However, Himani started crying on the call pleading to save her mother’s life. The doctor, fulfilling his duty, said yes to come and reached the told place.
The doctor reached the Hartman bridge in Bareilly. Himani was found there and took her to Karmachari Nagar, asking her to take her home with her. Taking her to a house here, she said that the mother was lying on the bed inside the room. He is having severe pain.

On reaching the room, Himani started doing obscene acts of the doctor and took off her clothes. Meanwhile, Himani’s companion, a woman and two men also came to the room. The clothes of the doctor were taken off. Objectionable material was put in the room. And then pornographic photos and videos were forcibly made with the doctor.
The game of blackmailing started, the doctor died of shock
Threats were made to make the obscene photos and videos viral to the doctor, due to which, in fear of asking the password from the doctor’s ATM, the same girl withdrew Rs 50,000 in three times. Later demanded one lakh rupees. The girl started blackmailing the doctor by showing the video clipping.
Call from different numbers
The doctor had complained to SSP Bareilly in this matter, after which on 8 December 2022, a case was registered against Priya Gangwar at Subhash Nagar police station in Bareilly against 420,342,384,504, 506,120B. Another woman and two youths were also involved in this.
The woman was constantly threatening the doctor from different numbers to make the video and photo viral and was demanding money. Due to this the doctor died of shock, but the family performed the last rites without any police action.
Himani confessed her crime
Police arrested Priya Gangwar. Then it came to light that this is not her real name, her real name is Himani and she is a resident of Bisauli police station area of Badaun. Himani told during interrogation that she along with her female friend and two youths had trapped people by blackmailing them like this.
8 people including army personnel implicated
She told the police that till now she has trapped many people and has recovered lakhs of rupees from them. 6 lakh has been recovered from eight people including army personnel, RTO employees. If money was not given, she used to threaten to send her to jail in a false case and put the video on the net. He is graduate.
SP said this
Case City SP Rahul Bhati says that if someone gets trapped in a honeytrap, then he should not hide this thing nor should he come in the words of the blackmailer. Immediately lodge a complaint in the nearest police station. The girl who blackmailed the doctor has been arrested. Further action is being taken in the matter.
