Uttarakhand: Pritam hit PC! Said – the state government is not fulfilling the promises
Former Congress state president and Chakrata MLA Pritam Singh fiercely attacked the BJP government of Uttarakhand. He described the one and a half year tenure of the Uttarakhand government as disappointing. Pritam Singh alleges that the BJP did not live up to the promises made to the people of Uttarakhand in the 2022 assembly elections. Pritam Singh held a press conference at the Uttarakhand Congress headquarters today on August 1. During this, he accused the BJP and said that the law and order in this government has completely collapsed. The government is misleading people on issues like employment and law and order.
Congress does not trust the investigative agencies
Pritam Singh said that cheating took place in recruitment examinations on a large scale. Congress is constantly demanding that the investigation of cheating be done under the supervision of the sitting judge of the High Court. The Congress has full faith in the judiciary, but not in the investigating agencies. Pritam Singh lashed out at the central Modi government.
Target on the central government
Pritam Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to double the income of farmers by 2022, but the central government did not fulfill the promise made to the farmers. He has raised the demand to increase the support price of farmers’ produce.
Questions raised on smart city project
On the other hand, great negligence was revealed in the Chamoli current accident, but the government did not take any concrete action. He also raised the question of the problems being faced by the people due to the smart city project. Pritam Singh said that this is the first government, which talks about issuing an app to make the roads pothole free. In such a situation, will the potholes be filled with the app, the government which visits the smart city every day, is the government not seeing the potholes in the city?
Serious allegations against the government
He also described the situation of divine calamity as horrifying. Pritam Singh says that people have been affected by the divine calamity caused by heavy rains, but the government has kept silence regarding the damage. The affected people have not even received compensation for the damage caused by the disaster.
He raised the question that what the government is doing for the construction of the properties which have been damaged due to the natural calamity. He has also attacked the government fiercely regarding the Ankita murder case, unemployment and inflation.
