Uttarakhand: 13 people missing in Gaurikund accident! CM Dhami reached the disaster control room to get updates, gave these instructions to the district magistrates

Late night rains wreaked havoc in Gaurikund, the main stop of Kedarnath Dham. Due to heavy rains, three shops have been destroyed due to Malwa coming from the hill in Gaurikund. 13 people have gone missing in this incident. Among these missing people, 8 people are reported to be of Nepal origin.

CM Dhami took update of Rudraprayag accident
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself reached the disaster control room on Friday to get information about the Gaurikund incident. He took an update of the Kedar Valley incident from the disaster department officials. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the incident was reported in Gaurikund on Thursday late night. Since then 13 people have been reported missing. However, the process of searching for the missing people is going on. Along with this, necessary assistance is also being provided in that area. Not only this, the relatives of those who are said to be missing are being contacted. Relief rescue team and district administration team are present at the spot.

Along with this, the CM said that other teams including NDRF, SDRF are also active at the spot. The District Magistrates have been asked to visit other such places in the state where people are living on the banks of kutcha houses, roads and rivers. If there is any kind of problem in these places also, then the people living there should be shifted to a safer place. Rescue and necessary works are being done.
