Jane Drew, 59, claims that the spirits of her mother Mary and grandmother Clara often roam her living room. Her husband of 68 years, David Drew, tells of seeing Jane’s father. He is currently on a wheelchair. Wife Jane takes care of him all the time. He also receives a lot of requests from people.
Started at the age of three
David says, ‘I will be 70 next year and my first experience is when I was 3 years old. I used to see people all the time, and nine months after Jane’s mother died, I saw her smiling, looking at me. I never see my relatives but I saw my mother soon after her death in 1979 and haven’t seen since then. When you die, the only thing you can take with you is your spiritual awareness. Looking back, I would say that life is unusual.
Jane says, ‘He sometimes sees my mother and grandmother sitting there while passing through the lounge. We used to have a bar and David sometimes saw my father behind the bar. We are on the bed and the bed starts to tilt downwards and I ask who is it but David is fast asleep. And I lie scared under the quilt. Sometimes it just seems like a small thing and sometimes it feels like someone is literally jumping on the bed.’
David claims to have been able to see spirits since childhood and initially believed that everyone could see ghosts as he did not see any difference. When he started working as a Psychic Medium as an adult, he met Jane. Then he participated in one of his stage shows in Blackpool in 1984. Since then both are together.
