In Shahjahanpur, the team of police and chief food inspection officer raided Maujampur, the team recovered wrappers of fresh branded company’s tea and large quantity of loose leaves from the godown. The game of making profit from the market was going on by packing the loose strip in the wrapper of the branded company’s fresh tea.
The team met on the spot stuffing the caught counterfeiters into fresh tea wrappers. The team arrested 03 accused with about 360.8 kg fresh tea leaves in 16 boxes, 633.9 kg loose tea leaves in 21 boxes, 30 kg polythene transparent white color etc.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sudhir Jaswal told that information was being received for a long time that a duplicate of branded company’s tea is being prepared in this godown built in Maujampur. The police raided suddenly after making an action plan and detained three people. They were identified as Jitendra Verma, Surendra and Nanhelal. One of their accomplices is absconding, whose search is on. , loose tea leaf 633.9 kg in 21 boxes, 30 kg of polythene transparent white color has been recovered
