He said that in relation to this bill, extensive consultations were held with the states, concerned ministries and departments and opinion of the common people was also taken. He said that this bill will make registration of birth and death certificates simple, reduce human intervention and will be digital. He said that this would be such a certificate which would prove helpful in various works. He said that the victims of various calamities and their families would also be benefitted by this.
