Uttarakhand: On PM Modi’s birthday, CM Dhami gave gifts to the beneficiaries of various schemes, handed over housing approval letters and checks.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday, on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence, ‘Ma. In the program ‘Prime Minister’s Gift – for you’, 11 beneficiaries of self-help groups under National Rural Livelihood Mission and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural were given housing approval letter, keys and Rs. 05 thousand each for purchasing utensils and items for the house. Provided cheques. The Chief Minister said that the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural will now be given Rs. 06 thousand each for household utensils and items.
The Chief Minister distributed checks to 25 beneficiaries of the NRLM scheme during the programme. Community Investment Fund (CIF) checks of Rs 75,000 each were given to 10 groups. Revolving fund checks of Rs 10,000 each were given to 5 groups and checks of Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 06 lakh were given to 10 groups. NRL in the state Under the M scheme, 5.01 lakh women have been organized and 64 thousand 686 groups, 06 thousand 551 village organizations and 392 cluster level organizations have been formed.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, prayed for his long life from Lord Kedarnath and Lord Badrivishal. On the occasion of his birthday, he expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for giving a special gift in the form of a permanent house to the sisters of Devbhoomi. The Chief Minister said that there are many such families among us for whom getting their own house is no less than the fulfillment of a dream. Providing permanent houses to the poor is not just a plan, it is a commitment to give confidence to each and every deprived person of the state that the government is determined for their empowerment. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the government is working to reach every poor.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, more than 4 crore pucca houses have been provided to poor families in the country in the last 9 years. About 70 percent of these houses are in the name of women. When a government works with Antyodaya as its goal, its results are different. Under this scheme, construction of a total of 36229 houses has been completed in the state and an amount of Rs 609.24 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT. The level at which the exploited and deprived are being empowered in the country today has never happened before. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, a new era of development has begun in Uttarakhand also. Many works are being done to strengthen the infrastructure of the state and make the state self-reliant.
Rural Development Minister Ganesh Joshi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all the schemes are being run keeping in mind the poor, the deprived and mother power. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural, houses have been sanctioned to 62 thousand 932 beneficiaries in the state so far and an amount of Rs 609 crore has been sent to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. So far 36229 houses have been completed. The process of housing approval of remaining 12079 beneficiaries is in progress. To empower the groups, various livelihood promotion activities are being conducted by providing financial inclusion by providing Rs 53.67 crore as revolving fund to 44255 groups, community investment fund of Rs 174.27 crore to 27079 groups and bank linkage of Rs 443.27 crore to 55257 groups. A target has been set to prepare 1.25 lakh women in the state as Lakhpati Didi by 2025. Till present time 40272 women have been groomed as Lakhpati Didi.
On this occasion, Secretary Rural Development Radhika Jha, Commissioner Rural Development Anand Swaroop, District Magistrate Dehradun Sonika, Additional Secretary Rural Development Nitika Khandelwal, CDO Dehradun Jharna Kamthan and others were present.
