Chhattisgarh / Bhilai: Young man was watching Gadar on mobile, murder took place

On Friday night in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, some youths killed a young man by stabbing him with knives. The deceased youth Malkit Singh was sitting in the IIT grounds watching the movie Gadar. During this time, Malkit had a dispute with the youth standing there. First the youth together beat him and then killed him with knives.

Angry people surrounded the police station

The family members reached the spot on information and admitted Malkit to a private hospital. Seeing the serious condition of the young man, he was referred to Raipur. He died during treatment at Ramakrishna Care Hospital. The deceased was the son of Sardar Kulanwat Singh, head of Malkit Gurdwara Babe Nanaki Ji Management Committee. On the death of the youth, a large number of people from the Sikh community reached Khursipar police station and surrounded the police station demanding the arrest of the accused.

According to the information received from the police, the accused are from Gautam Nagar. Seeing the increasing tension, ASP Sanjay Dhruv and forces from other police stations also reached there. The police took action and arrested four youths on Saturday afternoon. The arrested accused are Tasavvar Khan, Prateek Marathi, Ballu Bihari, Faizal Khan.
