Tamilnadu / Tuticorin: Husband reached in-laws house with gift, wife was surprised when she saw, it turned out to be lover’s severed head.
An angry husband allegedly killed a man over his wife’s affair. So much so that the man reached his in-laws’ house with the severed head of his wife’s lover and gave it to his wife. This horrific incident happened in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. According to the police, the name of the accused is S Veluswamy. His wife’s lover’s name is D Murugan. Both are residents of Kannadikulam in Tenkasi district.
Veluswamy learns that his wife has developed an affair with a local man. Neighbors claimed that the two men often quarreled over this issue. After this his wife left Veluswami and went to her father’s house.
Murugan was grazing cows on his land on Thursday. It is alleged that Veluswamy suddenly attacked him with a sharp weapon. He did not get a chance to protest against the sudden attack. Veluswami beheads Murugan with a sharp weapon. After this, he kept the severed head in a plastic bag and took it to his in-laws’ house. The wife was surprised to see Velu. After this Velu took out Murugan’s severed head from the bag and ran away leaving it in front of his house.
The local people were shocked to see a man running away with a severed head. He informed the police, who came and recovered the severed head. Murugan’s body was recovered from his land. After this Veluswamy was arrested.
