Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reached Pithoragarh, took stock of ongoing preparations for PM’s visit

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took stock of the ongoing preparations for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in view of his proposed visit to Pithoragarh on October 12. The Chief Minister took stock of the aircraft landing arrangements, security arrangements and other arrangements at Naini Saini Airport. After this, he took stock of the stage arrangements, seating arrangements, sound arrangements, security arrangements, tents, drinking water, toilets etc. at the SS Valdiya Sports Stadium located in Pithoragarh, the venue of the public meeting. He instructed all concerned officers to complete all the arrangements error-free and on time.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this visit of the Prime Minister to Uttarakhand will give further impetus to the development of Devbhoomi and will also give a new identity to various religious tourism areas of the state at the global level. On this occasion, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, MP Ajay Tamta, District Panchayat President Deepika Bohra, MLA Bishan Singh Chufal, District Magistrate Reena Joshi, Chief Development Officer Varun Chaudhary and other officials were present.
