Haryana Police was shocked when the ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) was taken away by a thief in front of the policemen. After a long time, the Dial-112 vehicle was recovered from a deserted area about 10 kilometers away, but its key was missing. Police were seen searching for the keys of the car in the fields.
DSP Kanwaljeet said that ERV number 681 was informed that a fight was taking place between a husband and wife in village Khurdi of Yamunanagar district. After this, the police team had left for there, meanwhile on the way some people were fighting among themselves at village Khandwa turn. People stopped the ERV and told the whole story. On this, the police took the person who quarreled into custody and made him sit in the car.
After this, the ERV reached village Khurdi, the policeman got down from the car and started trying to console the husband and wife who were quarreling among themselves, but forgot to take out the keys of the car. When the accused sitting in the car saw that all the policemen were busy in resolving the dispute and the keys were in the car, he sat on the front seat, started the car and drove away. When the policemen saw, they were surprised. The police immediately started chasing him on the bike. The accused youth had driven the car away about ten kilometers from the spot.

The vehicle was recovered from a deserted area of Hooda Sector 18, 10 kilometers away from the incident site. But by the time the police reached the vehicle, the thief had fled. Many police teams are raiding various places in search of the absconding thief. DSP Kanwaljeet said that the accused has been identified and very soon he will be behind the bars.
