Israel-Hamas War: Hamas attack on Israel brings back memories of genocide against Jews – Biden

America is supporting Israel in the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel. America has also provided military assistance to Israel. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that the United States is monitoring the situation in Israel very closely. He also said that the terrorist attack by Hamas has brought back painful memories of years of anti-Semitism and genocide against the Jewish people.

Biden said Saturday’s Hamas attack was the “deadliest day” for Jews since the Holocaust.

“We are monitoring the situation in Israel very closely, and the Vice President and I and most of my security team have spoken with Prime Minister Netanyahu again this morning,” President Biden said in his statement. Speaking on the war, he said, “This attack has hammered home the painful memories and old wounds left by years of anti-Semitism and genocide against the Jewish people.”

The United States is in support of Israel – America

Biden said in his statement, “At this time we have to be very clear in our support. Terrorism should not exist nor should there be any excuse to justify it in any way. The manner in which terrorism has manifested itself in this war has been seen in a completely different manner. My commitment to the security of Israel and the security of the Jewish people is unwavering. The United States is in support of Israel. We will continue to work on this today and beyond.

More than 1,200 people have been killed in the Hamas attack in Israel. At the same time, Israel retaliated and killed about 1,100 people in Gaza. Biden stopped by a roundtable with Jewish community leaders and reassured Israel of his unwavering support over the terrorist attacks.
