Due to lack of proper security arrangements on both sides of Pushta Road, many people have become victims of accidents here. These include many laborers doing highway work. While making a net of iron girders and bars over the highway pillars, a strong plastic net is placed under the pillar. So that even if any iron girder or rebar from the top gets loose from the hands of the employees, it would not cause any harm to any person walking on the road, but this rule is not being followed anywhere on the Delhi Saharanpur Highway. . Such negligence was seen on many pillars including pillar number 154.

Safety fence is not even made while welding
Heavy girders are installed over the pillars to form caps. The girders are welded to give them strength. While welding, barricades etc. are placed below the pillars. People can be prevented from passing under it by erecting a guard, but this rule was not followed anywhere. Seeing so many sparks falling from above during welding, people passing by automatically step aside or stop their vehicles and wait for the sparks to stop.

Trend guards remain missing
To prevent any kind of accident, whenever a crane lifts a heavy girder etc. from one place to another, trend guards are deployed to stop people passing by, but this rule is followed at many places on the highway. were also seen flying. Two cranes were installed on Osmanpur Pushta Road, but neither any guard was seen deployed on the spot nor barricading was done around the cranes.

Due to highway work, all three bridges have fallen into disrepair. There are big and deep pits at many places. There is always a possibility of an accident due to this. Due to the dilapidated condition of the road, dust keeps flying day and night on Pushta Road. Due to this, people passing through Pushta Road as well as people living in nearby colonies are facing a lot of problems.
