Uttarakhand: Bhatt called PM Modi the brand ambassador of religious and cultural sentiments of Devbhoomi, rejected Congress’s allegations.
Taking a dig at the Congress’ reactions to the PM’s visit, the BJP said, this is the same person whose eyes were always on disaster relief and central assistance for the Commission when they were in power. State President Mahendra Bhatt hit back at the allegations of playing with emotions and said, Modi ji is the brand ambassador of the religious and cultural sentiments of Devbhoomi. Expressing regret, he said that those who kept the dream of railway in the mountains suppressed, are upset with the progress of the railway project and are challenging him to deliver the railway.
State President Bhatt, in an informal conversation with the media, said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state is setting new dimensions of development with the help of central projects worth lakhs of crores. Talking about road infrastructure, many road schemes including all-weather roads have made travel easier, and ropeway connectivity schemes will make inaccessible places accessible. Similarly, if anyone is realizing the dream of running a railway on the mountains, which has been nurtured in the eyes of the local people for decades, then it is the Modi government. The pace of these projects shows that soon the sound of the train between Rishikesh and Karnaprayag will echo in the mountain valleys. He also said, the people of the state have full faith that the dream of Tanakpur Bageshwar Railway will also take shape soon in the hands of Modi ji. Accusing the Congress, he said, the truth of Uttarakhand moving towards a developed state is not being accepted only by those who have been in power at the Center and the State for a long time and also ran a double engine government. But he kept his entire focus on the development of the state and filling his pockets with the commission of disaster relief amount.
Countering Yashpal Arya’s statement of playing with the sentiments of Kumaon, Bhatt said, Modi ji is the true bearer of the sentiments of Devbhoomi, he is the brand ambassador of the religious, cultural and traditions of our state. Who has done the work of making Badri Kedar Dham more divine and grand by unprecedented development works of reconstruction and beautification. It is the result of their efforts and faith in the holy places that there has been a record increase in the number of pilgrims visiting Char Dham in the last years. The entire Manaskhand region is going to get the same benefits of tourism economy on a large scale through Modi ji’s visit to Adi Kailash and Jageshwar Dham. Countering the allegation of defamation of Kedarnath Dham, he said, it is not being defamed but the Congress party is trying to insult this holy place by spreading false rumors about the Golden Temple.
State President Bhatt said, Congress’s efforts to spread confusion regarding Agniveer scheme have failed. This is clearly visible in the energy of the first batch of fire fighters from Lansdowne and the youthful enthusiasm surging for recruitment. The nationalist people of the state are completely adamant with this plan of better future of the youth and military empowerment. He said, the state government is continuously working to provide employment to the youth by conducting recruitment examinations with full transparency and honesty. Those who are talking about the PM not speaking on this issue, Chief Minister Dhami has already stopped them from speaking, by curbing the copying mafia in the state with the Anti-Copying Act. He said, out of frustration, the Congress party continues to indulge in negative politics. This is the reason why he is being rejected again and again by the public.
