Chess Champion: 17 year old Raunak becomes Chess Under-20 World Champion
India’s Grandmaster Raunak Sadhwani, 17, became the Under-20 World Junior Rapid Chess Champion after a strong performance in Italy. Raunak from Nagpur, Maharashtra won the winner’s trophy in the 11th round with 8.5 points. The special thing is that Raunak faced difficulty in getting a visa to play in the tournament, but his concentration was not disturbed.
