The case of girl student molested and then thrown in front of a train in CBganj was not yet settled when the woman and her family members were chased and beaten near the SP City office on Monday when they asked for water. The accused did not even spare the family members who came to save them, due to which there was chaos on the road. Kotwali police immediately arrested Dinanath Lassi shop operator’s brother Ashu, employees Ankit and Sunny. Wrote an FIR against the accused.

This is the whole matter

According to Manju Gupta, a resident of Fatehganj East Town, she is suffering from dengue. She came to Bareilly on Monday to take medicines. Brother Santosh, son Shaurya and Shivam of the family were with him. Bought samosa near Novelty intersection to buy medicine. To take the medicine, Dinanath went to the Lassi seller’s shop to get water. As soon as we asked for water, the shop owner sitting at the counter started being rude. When he objected to this, his servants came along with the shop owner and started abusing. On protest the accused became attackers. When Santosh, Shaurya and Shivam came to save him, the accused started fighting.

The family reached the police station crying

He was chased and beaten on the road. Tried to strangulate. Somehow the victim reached the police station and narrated her ordeal while crying. Said how can anyone commit atrocities like this? The Kotwali police immediately became active and picked up three of them. An FIR was lodged against the accused on the basis of the complaint letter. Shortly afterwards, the CCTV footage of the incident was circulated on the internet media. The audacity of the accused is captured in a 38-second viral video, in which the accused are seen running and beating the woman and her relatives. A crowd has gathered nearby. According to the police, the dispute took place over a change of Rs 100. When the woman asked for change of Rs 100, the shopkeeper refused. The dispute escalated over this issue and a fight broke out. The woman first alleged assault and also robbery. Later a complaint letter was given only saying that there was assault. An FIR has been written on the same basis. The shop owner’s brother Ashu, resident of Shyamganj Anchal Colony, his employees Ankit, resident of Bagh Bridgeton and Sunny of Shahbad have been arrested. The accused have been challaned for disturbing the peace.
