In Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a man was so upset with his wife and sister-in-law that he went to the police to complain. When the police did not listen to him, he threatened to commit suicide. The person said, “Please save me from my wife and sister-in-law, they neither give me food nor water, they abuse me when I ask for food and drive me away from the house.” Let us tell you that the matter is of Hanumant Vihar police station area. The victim’s husband lodged a complaint in the police station and said that if he was not saved from his wife and sister-in-law, he would commit suicide. The man said that his wife Anita beats him, abuses him and his parents and does not even give him food. His sister-in-law supports his wife in this work. Due to this, those people have been hungry for four days. Fed up with his wife’s harassment, he has gone to the police station to lodge a complaint.
Married in 2009, family lives in a rented house
The name of the victim’s husband is Rinku Kashyap. Rinku is a resident of Keshav Nagar. Rinku, fed up with the harassment by his wife Anita and sister-in-law Sangeeta, appealed for justice at Osmanpur police post. Rinku told that since their marriage in 2009, there was a dispute in the house regarding living separately with his wife Anita. For the last one year, he started living with his wife and children in a rented house in Keshav Nagar, where his sister-in-law Sangeeta also lives with her husband.
When he stopped me from talking on the phone, his wife threw him out of the house
Rinku alleged that the wife talks to her in-laws on the phone throughout the day. On protesting, she starts abusing. When I came home on October 16, my wife was talking to her in-laws on the phone. When he refused, his wife and sister-in-law abused him and threw him out of the house. Rinku alleged that she was not even being allowed to enter the house for the last two days. Hanumant Vihar police station in-charge Uday Pratap Singh said that the husband’s allegations in the case are being investigated. Action will be taken if found correct.
