Uttarakhand: BJP targeted Harish Rawat’s Kisan Yatra, Bhatt said – Harda is taking the help of farmers’ land to save his political ground!

BJP has accused former CM Harish Rawat of calling the Kisan Yatra an unsuccessful attempt to save his political ground. State President Mahendra Bhatt said, Congress never worried about the farmers while in government, whereas today many schemes of the Central and State Government are working to change the economy of the farmers.

Answering the questions asked about Congress’ farmer visits, Mahendra Bhatt said, the farmers of the state are getting the benefits of the Central Government’s Kisan Samman Nidhi, Soil Health Card, Crop Insurance, record increase in the MSP of crops. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the dues of sugarcane farmers on sugar mills were settled within the stipulated time, millet scheme is being implemented in a better manner with the aim of giving maximum benefit of the food scheme to the state, Kiwi regarding horticulture, Work is being done on a large scale regarding other products like apple, walnut etc. Due to all these efforts, the economy of the farmers of the state is improving. As far as the state is concerned, appropriate compensation is being given on the instructions of CM Dhami to compensate for the loss caused by the disaster in Haridwar. Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi and Disaster and Irrigation Minister Satpal Maharaj are in constant touch with the regional farmers and are continuously trying to solve their problems.

Taking a jibe at Harish Rawat, he said that to save his political ground, Harda is unsuccessfully trying to take the help of farmers’ land.

This is the reason why they are not able to come out of Haridwar in view of the clearly visible defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.  They continuously start agitation on the local issues one after the other but they are not getting the support of the local people and farmers.  Because the farmers have also seen a period of misery under their government, hence they do not get trapped by the conspiracy of the Congress Party to spread confusion.  Along with the people of the state, the blessings of the farmers of Haridwar are also with the BJP, which was confirmed by their landslide victory in the Panchayat elections.  He sarcastically said that Harda’s pulses will not melt this time too because the public has made up its mind to feed only lotus in Dharmanagari in future too.
