Uttarakhand: ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ program – CM Dhami gave green signal to Amrit Kalash Yatra, left for Delhi
The final phase of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ program is going to be organized on 31st October at Kartavya Path in Delhi. In which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate. In this sequence, the soil collected from various parts of the state will be taken by about 192 people of the state to this Amrit Kalash to Delhi through bus. Due to this, a program was organized for state level Amrit Kalash Yatra in Dehradun. In the program organized, CM Dhami flagged off the state level Amrit Kalash Yatra.
The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ program is being celebrated as a nationwide campaign, under which the ‘heroes’ who sacrificed their lives for the country are being honoured. Under this campaign, programs were organized in 4419 blocks across the country. During the program, soil was collected from every corner of the country, which will be placed in an urn and installed in Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial on the conclusion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ i.e. on 31st October.
While addressing the program, CM Dhami said that all the campaigns going on within the country have been started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this sequence, ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign was started. This Kalash Yatra is being conducted to remember our martyrs. Under this yatra, the soil of the holy land of immortal martyrs is being transported on the path of duty. The soil reaching Delhi from all parts of the country through 7500 urns will be installed in Amrit Vatika and Amrit Mahotsav Memorial.
CM Dhami said that patriotism is the best among all types of devotion. Whenever I participate in such programs related to soldiers, my eyes become moist remembering those sacrifices. He said that the army is getting stronger under the leadership of PM. Not only this, the central government is emphasizing on modernization of the army. Besides, it is also providing all facilities to the families of the martyrs. Now the Army does not need anyone’s permission to respond to any bullet. Therefore, now the army is responding to bullets with bullets. Also said that the grant amount to soldiers awarded for bravery in Uttarakhand has been increased.
