Uttar Pradesh: In Moradabad, DM reached government school as a common man, children could not study Hindi. When salaries were stopped, teachers started pleading.

District Magistrate Manvendra Singh conducted a surprise inspection of the primary school located at Manpur Majhra of Dilari block. During this time he found many flaws there. Children of class five could not read Hindi after seeing the book. The DM said that teachers’ salaries will be stopped until children’s education improves.
DM Manvendra Singh reached the primary school Majhra Manpur of Dilari block for a surprise inspection. As soon as the teachers and staff saw the DM, they stood at attention. On enquiry, it was found that 90 children are registered here but the number of teachers is five.
After finding more teachers than the standard, DM sought clarification from BSA. School in-charge Shaida Khatoon was found absent on the spot. DM said that BSA will seek clarification from Shaida in this matter.
The matter became worse when the DM ordered the children of class five to take books and study Hindi. Children could not read Hindi correctly. DM said that the education system here is not good right now. Teachers will be held responsible for this.
Only when there will be improvement in the education of children, instructions will be issued to pay the salaries of teachers. The toilet arrangement of the school was not good. Disabled toilet was not built. Water was not coming from the tanks. DM expressed displeasure in this matter.
Shiksha Mitra is not coming to Manpur for six months
DM Manvendra Singh inspected primary school, Manpur Sabit development block, Dilari. There are five teachers posted in the school for 63 children which is more than the standard. DM has sought clarification from BSA in this matter.
The teachers of the school informed the DM that Shiksha Mitra Shaista Parveen was not coming to school for six months. She is not providing service to the school without giving any reason. In this case, DM gave instructions to remove Shiksha Mitra from service.
Plasters were falling off the school roofs. On enquiry, it was revealed that the rejuvenation work was not found to be as per the standard. Substandard material has been used in it. The construction of toilet was also not proper. DM instructed BSA to conduct technical investigation in this matter.
DM asked for clarification from CMO
DM Manvendra Singh went to Manpur Majhra on Wednesday to inspect the schools. Meanwhile, he stopped after seeing the Health Wellness Center locked. After asking the local people, the DM has sought clarification from the CMO in this matter. The reason will have to be explained as to why the Wellness Center has been locked.
