Turkey: Palestine supporters attacked the airbase where American soldiers are stationed, miscreants clashed with the police.

The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas is not ending. Rockets are being fired at each other continuously. The Israeli army resolved to eliminate every terrorist of Hamas. At the same time, America stands firmly with Israel. Because of this, there are fierce protests against it. Meanwhile, just hours before US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Ankara for talks on Gaza, pro-Palestinian militants tried to attack a US airbase on Sunday. However, Turkish police took charge and dispersed the protesters using tear gas and water cannon.
Growing humanitarian crisis
About 11 thousand people have died in the Hamas-Israel war. The death toll in Gaza is very high. In such a situation, the humanitarian crisis is increasing here. As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens, Turkey is continuously criticizing Israel and on the other hand, it is supporting the two-state solution while hosting members of Hamas. It is noteworthy that since the start of Israel-Hamas war, a large number of protests have started in Turkey.
Crowd gathered at Incirlik airbase
Earlier this week, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation gathered at Incirlik Air Base in southern Turkey’s Adana province to protest US support for Israel. In fact, Incirlik airbase is used to support the international coalition fighting the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. American soldiers are also included in this.
Police targeted
The crowd gathered outside the airbase was seen waving Palestinian flags and shouting slogans. Not only this, the miscreants demolished the barricades put up by the police and clashed with them. Apart from this, the protesters also threw plastic chairs, stones and other items at the police.
Released tear gas shells
Seeing the worsening situation, the police decided to use tear gas. To disperse the crowd, the police released tear gas shells and also used water cannon. After this the crowd got enraged and there was a huge clash with the security forces. Pictures and videos of protests by Palestine supporters are going viral on social media.
Appeal not to attack police
During the IHH protests there were demands for the closure of Incirlik. However, IHH Chairman Bulent Yildirim appealed to the crowd in Adana not to attack the police.
