Hardik Pandya out of World Cup due to injury
Team India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya is out of the World Cup. In his place, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been included in the team. ICC has confirmed this. Hardik was injured due to ankle twist in the match played against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19. After this he did not play any match. He played 4 matches in the World Cup.
Was out of the match against Bangladesh
Hardik got injured in the 9th and his first over in the match played against Bangladesh. Hardik twisted his ankle on the third ball and sat on the crease. The medical team saw the injury and took him off the field. Virat Kohli came to bowl in place of Hardik. He gave 2 runs in 3 balls.
Pandya went to NCA from Pune after injury
After suffering an injury against Bangladesh, Pandya did not travel with the team from Pune for the match played against New Zealand in Dharamsala on October 22. He moved from Pune to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Currently he is undergoing rehab under the supervision of doctors at NCA itself.

Prasidh Krishna in World Cup team for the first time
Prasidh Krishna has been included in the World Cup squad for the first time. Prasidh was asked to be ready as a backup and he was practicing at the National Cricket Academy itself. He was included in the Indian squad after getting approval from the Event Technical Committee of the tournament on Saturday.
