Uttar Pradesh: The farmer committed suicide by consuming poison, made a video before dying, the family kept making rounds of the police

In the case of suicide by farmer Pankaj Sirohi, resident of Mohalla Srinagar Colony of the city, the family members have made serious allegations against Bhumiya of Bulandshahr. He says that he kept visiting Meerut, Bulandshahr and Hapur police to file a report against the accused. Later, realizing the seriousness of the matter, SP Hapur lodged a report and gave instructions to start the investigation. However, the family members are still apprehensive about the matter. Pankaj Sirohi’s video has also gone viral on social media, in which he has made serious allegations against a property dealer.

What is the whole matter?
Farmer Pankaj Sirohi, resident of Srinagar Colony, had committed suicide by consuming poison on September 30. Earlier he had made a video from his mobile. In which he has held property dealer Sudhir Kumar Goyal of Bulandshahr district and his family responsible for his death. Raj Bahadur Singh, brother-in-law of the deceased, who filed the case, said that for the last 20 days he had been making rounds of Meerut, Bulandshahr and Hapur police for action in the case. He told that he had complained to ADG Rajiv Sabharwal on October 17. The ADG had immediately ordered the Bulandshahr SSP to investigate the matter and take action. On October 25, he was called to Bulandshahr SSP. He reached there with his sister Beena Sirohi and nephew Vishu Sirohi. The police recorded the statements of all three, but even after this did not register the report. He was repeatedly rebuffed by saying that the matter was of Hapur. Hapur Kotwali police also kept stopping them. After which SP Hapur filed a report on his complaint.

What did the inspector in charge say?
City Kotwali in-charge Inspector Neeraj Kumar said that a report has been registered against Sudhir Kumar Goyal, his wife Rakhi Goyal and son Shivang Goyal in the case of the death of the farmer. Evidence related to the incident is being collected. Justice will be provided to the farmer’s family.
