Uttarakhand: CM Dhami met former Chief Ministers, extended best wishes for Diwali
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday met his three predecessors and greeted them on the eve of Diwali. Dhami met former chief ministers Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat at their residence and presented bouquets to all of them. Koshyari has also been the Governor of Maharashtra and is considered Dhami’s political guru. Tirath Singh Rawat was the Chief Minister of the state immediately before Dhami. He had replaced Trivendra Singh Rawat. Trivendra Singh was removed from the post after a tenure of four years. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the residence of former Chief Minister Major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri (Retd) and extended Diwali wishes. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the residence of former Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and wished Diwali.
