‘BJP leaders burst a lot of firecrackers on Diwali, pollution increased in Delhi, Gopal Rai told the reason.

A day after Diwali, a blanket of smog once again spread across Delhi-NCR. The sky which was looking blue after the rain two days ago, started appearing full of smog again. AQI in the capital once again reached the very poor category. The effect of huge fireworks on Diwali was clearly visible in the air. However, political battles over pollution once again surfaced. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai once again held BJP responsible for the increased level of pollution. The minister also slammed the BJP government in the neighboring states for this.

Is BJP responsible for pollution?
Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that the only reason for the increase in pollution level today is the burning of firecrackers. He said that even after the order of the Supreme Court, BJP does not want to fulfill its responsibility. Gopal Rai said that this is unfortunate…BJP wanted firecrackers to be burnt and the police in all three states (Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh) are with BJP. Gopal Rai accused BJP of disobeying the directions of the Supreme Court. Said that many people did not burst firecrackers, but in areas where BJP has influence, BJP leaders burst a lot of firecrackers.
